I’ve worked from home quite a bit over this last year with my little one under foot. I’ve truly never been more productive and efficient in my life. Something that I’ve learned is to just take it day by day, some days are harder than others so be honest about what you are able to take on.
Carve out a designated work space. We turned the home office into the nursery and I felt very displaced until I set up a desk in another area of my home. I personally find it easier to focus when I’m in my office space vs at the dinning table where I can easily get distracted by house hold tasks.
Meet your kids needs first, they aren’t going to allow you to get anything done until you get them settled and distracted. Need to make a call, this is when they get their snack. Do what you gotta do.
Also just go ahead and stock up on wine. 😉
